CHURCH COMMUNITY’S WINTER BOOK CLUB!

NewChurch Live will be hosting a book club for members of the church community. On Wednesday evenings beginning March 12th at 7pm, EST for 3 weeks we will be reading Cherished Belonging by Gregory Boyle.  At a time when society is more fractured than ever before, beloved Jesuit priest Gregory Boyle invites us to see the world through a new lens of connection and build the loving community that we long to live in.

A complimentary copy of the book will be mailed to participants before the club starts in March!

Are you looking to explore ways to live a kinder more connected life? Do you long for community?  This book, and this group, are for you.

Over the past thirty years, Gregory Boyle has transformed tens of thousands of lives through his work as the founder of Homeboy Industries, the largest gang-intervention program in the world. The program runs on two unwavering principles: 1) We are all unshakably good (no exceptions), and 2) we belong to each other (no exceptions).

Over 3  Zoom sessions, members of the NewChurch Live community, both far and wide, will come together to connect and discuss topics such as:

  • How do we live with radical kindness?
  • Boyle’s vision of community is a space for people to join together and heal one another in a new collective living
  • The shift from tribalism that excludes and punishes, to a village that cherishes.
